Ardmac Secures Landmark Agratas Facility Project with Jaguar Land Rover

The facility is being developed by Agratas, the global battery business of the Tata Group, and represents one of the UK’s most strategically significant investments in battery manufacturing. Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors will be the facility’s first customers, with batteries destined for electric vehicles across the Range Rover, Defender, and Jaguar brands.

 

By the early 2030s, the facility is expected to contribute almost half of the UK automotive sector’s projected battery manufacturing capacity, playing a critical role in accelerating the UK’s transition to electrification and strengthening domestic battery supply chains.
