JVC-H is a family owned holding, with diversified investments. Passionate ones, as renewable energies, wines and eco-tourism, IT and industry.
We have only invested in businesses we feel close and familiar. It has been for a long time that my Family has been connected to this land and to Dao wine production in the Center of Portugal (Viseu Region), where I developed my early passion for wine production.
Here, was also born Labesfal, a modern pharmaceutical industrial company, which for years was my main priority and occupation, as President and main shareholder. In 2005, Labesfal was integrated the Fresenius Group and is today one of Fresenius key factories.
It was this passion for the industry and for creating prosperity in this Region that led me to invest, in 2001, in the MBO that led to what is today the Purever Group.
In these 10 years I have supported and participated with much enthousiam in Purever’s successful development. Today, as Purever’s major shareholder, I am delighted to be involved in the Group strategy, now with 18 companies present in 30 countries, creating jobs for 380 people. A profitable and fast growing Group.
Purever is a good example of international expansion and dedication to more than 2.500 clients all over the World. We have invested in our factories, contributing daily with quality and certified products to the collection, storage, distribution, preparation and sale of all types of food and products.
We live in an unprecedented global crisis with great uncertainty about the Future. But these are also challenging times and surely also of some opportunities. Demanding cost control and flexibility is necessary. Times to show our professionalism and commitment to society, customers and workers.
